Our Mission
Powerful changes are rocking our society.
If families continue to falter, every part of our society, including our churches, will topple. But if Christian families thrive, others will seek their secret, that being Jesus, and all will flourish.
Equip Family Ministry equips people and churches to develop strong, happy, lasting marriages and families.
EFM is a Christian, non-denominational ministry that partners with individual families, churches, para-church organizations and secular organizations to intentionally equip and provide the resources needed to build strong marriages and families.
Equip Family Ministry serves under the supervision of International Christian Mission Services (ICMS).
EFM Beliefs on Family and Marriage
The Bible contains the blueprints for building solid marriage and family relationships.
Marriage is the union of one man and one woman for life as directed by God in His Word: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and cleave unto his wife; and they shall become one flesh.” (Gen. 2:24)
Marriage is the foundation of family life.
Sex is given by God as an expression of love to be shared and enjoyed exclusively between a husband and wife.
Children are a gift from God, and thrive best in a home where both mother and father are committed to raising them with love, intention, and care.
Parents should aspire to model for their children how to humbly follow the teachings and Spirit of Jesus at home and in the community.
